Stephen Rowe works at the intersection of AI, digital strategy, and education. From prime time to prime ministers’ offices, he helps leaders use modern tools to drive real change.
He is the program director of Cato Courses at the Cato Institute, where he built a free online learning platform for young Americans from the ground up in 10 months. Today it offers free courses, daily games, and live AI avatars of Adam Smith and Mary Wollstonecraft.
Before joining Cato, Rowe spent nearly a decade as director of digital training at the Leadership Institute, where he trained more than 24,000 students, activists, and leaders and launched the organization’s first on-demand training platform and app. He hosts Tech Talk Rowe, an AI and digital strategy micro podcast, and his commentary has appeared on Fox News, Fox Business, Newsmax, and local stations. He was raised in Montana, the Treasure State.
