About me
I was born in Colorado and raised in Montana, the "Treasure State", where the mountains and endless adventures shaped who I am.
I'm the eldest of two sons, born to a Black Panamanian immigrant father and a Rosebud Sioux Native American mother.
I grew up in a home that valued hard work, resilience, and the rich cultural heritage of both sides of my family.
Before graduating Montana State University, my career began working to succesfully elect Rep. Ryan Zinke and Sen. Steve Daines in 2014.
I served as a Team Captain for the Montana Republican Party's Engagement Team, and assisted the Data Director of the campaign.
Thousands of doors, phones, and spreadsheets later — we won!
While on the campaign, I was lucky to meet Gov. Greg Gianforte and help him lead an online movement called Better Montana Jobs. As the social media manager, our presence quickly grew and was a success.
After graduating in 2015, I left Montana and joined Turning Point USA in their second year. Within a month, I was promoted to Editor-In-Chief of their brand new online site, “Hypeline News”.
In one year, I led my team from a startup to over 12.8 million page views and millions more on social media.
In October 2016, the website had over 200 contributors from across the country and I managed 7 full-time employees.
Then I joined the Leadership Institute (LI), a 501c3 non-profit, as the Director of Digital Training in Arlington, VA in 2015.
In 8 years, I trained more than 24,000 students, activists and leaders on digital and political technology.
I built and managed Leadership Institute On-Demand, LI’s on-demand training platform and mobile app.
I also hosted and produced live training events, on-demand courses, and specialized three-hour workshops.
Here are a few courses I teach:
Artificial Intelligence for Politics
The Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
Social Media Marketing
Email List Growth Tactics
Building an Online Brand
In addition, I contributed to Leadership Institute's Campus Reform where I occasionally speak on Fox News, Fox Business, OAN, and Newsmax.
In 2025, I joined the Cato Institute as a Program Director of Cato Courses, a platform set to become a top-tier resource for young libertarian minds.
In my free time, I enjoy great whiskey (bourbon especially), being outdoors, and a game of chess.
Some controversial opinions? I enjoy pineapple (sometimes) on my pizza. Taylor Swift is nothing short of fantastic, and I'm #TeamCanon all the way.
I have a play hard, work harder mentality. I love people and I’m a pragmatic optimist.
