About Me
I’m the eldest of two sons, born to a Black Panamanian immigrant father and a Rosebud Sioux Native American mother.
I came into the world in Colorado Springs, CO but grew up in Montana (the “Treasure State”) where mountains, wide-open skies, and endless adventures shaped my positive outlook on life.
At home, I was raised with values of kindness, hard work, resilience, and service.
Before graduating Montana State University (affectionally known as ‘the Harvard of the West’), I launched my career by helping elect Rep. Ryan Zinke and Sen. Steve Daines in 2014.
As a Team Captain for the Montana Republican Party’s Engagement Team, I knocked on doors, made countless calls, and supported the campaign’s Data Director.
Thousands of doors, phones, and spreadsheets later — we won!
While on the campaign, I was lucky to meet Gov. Greg Gianforte and help him lead an online movement called Better Montana Jobs. As the social media manager, our presence quickly grew and became a success story in digital grassroots engagement.
After graduating in 2015, I left Montana to join Charlie Kirk’s newly founded organization, Turning Point USA, at its headquarters in the Chicago area.
Within a month, I was promoted to Editor-in-Chief of Hypeline News, a new digital platform that served as the early foundation of Turning Point USA’s influencer program.
In just one year, I scaled the site from startup to over 12.8 million page views and millions more across social media. By September 2016, the newsroom had over 200 contributors nationwide, and I directly managed a staff of seven full-time employees.
In October 2016, I joined the Leadership Institute, a non-profit in Arlington, VA, and quickly became the Director of Digital Training.
Over the next eight years, I trained more than 24,000 students, activists, and leaders in digital strategy and political technology—each training counted only after at least three hours of effort, ensuring real impact and measurable skills.
I created and managed Leadership Institute On-Demand, the organization’s first on-demand training platform and mobile app, while also producing and hosting live events, online courses, and specialized workshops.
Some of the most popular training courses I led included:
Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Politics
Video Editing
Social Media Marketing
Email List Growth Tactics
Online Fundraising
In addition, I contributed to LI’s Campus Reform project and regularly appeared on Fox News, Fox Business, OAN, and Newsmax to provide expert commentary.
In January 2025, I joined the Cato Institute as the Program Director of Cato Courses—a digital learning platform for students and young leaders interested in individual liberty, free markets, limited government, and peace.
In 10 months, I built the platform from the ground up, blending curriculum design, technology, and outreach, with the goal of equipping the next generation with timeless ideas in a modern format.
The platform is now publicly available and growing fast!
Beyond my work at Cato, I’m passionate about how artificial intelligence is reshaping human connection, online content, and education.
I continue to train people and organizations how to leverage AI, and I host a micro podcast called Tech Talk Rowe (over 4,000 followers), where I explore how emerging technologies change the way we work, communicate, and lead.
Outside of work, I believe in living fully.
You’ll often find me exploring the world with my wife, watching the Denver Broncos, savoring a great whiskey (bourbon especially), or sharpening my strategy over a good game of chess.
I’m not afraid of a few hot takes, either: pineapple on pizza does have its place, Taylor Swift is undeniably fantastic, and when it comes to photography, I’m firmly #TeamCanon.
At my core, I live by a simple philosophy: play hard, work harder.
I thrive around people, believe in pragmatic optimism, and strive to leave every person and project better than I found them.
